La Jolla, CA - August 18, 2010 - Education Systems, Inc., makers of the EMAS Pro suite of enrollment tools, has signed a 4-year agreement with University of Wisconsin-Parkside to provide a comprehensive enrollment management solution. UW-Parkside, located south of Milwaukee and one of 13 four-year campuses in the state's university system, offers bachelor and graduate programs in arts and sciences and in business and technology. Responding to a call for significant enrollment growth over the next few years, UW-Parkside embarked on their search for an enrollment partner through a competitive bidding process in early 2010. They selected EMAS Pro's recruitment system and are now actively involved in implementation.
Before EMAS Pro, the enrollment staff had no choice but to wrestle directly with the large ERP/SIS (enterprise resource planning/student information system software). This did not give the admissions team the control or the results they wanted. "Working only with the tools provided by our campus's large database system, we simply could not communicate effectively with prospective students and we had no way to measure the value of contacts we did make," comments DeAnn Possehl, UW-Parkside's Interim Director of Enrollment Management.
"With end-user training scheduled for late August, we expect to see almost immediate improvements in our recruitment program," continues Possehl. "Since we have a small staff and a lot of work to do, we expect EMAS Pro to improve staff efficiency and help us give prospective students more individualized attention. EMAS Pro should help improve communications, strengthen relationships, and provide actionable data for decision making."
Since selecting EMAS Pro through a competitive bidding process in Spring 2010, UW-Parkside has moved quickly through set-up tasks, readiness consulting and has now scheduled their end-user training for the front-line admissions staff. Sean Gottlieb, Director of Solution Services with Education Systems, Inc. monitors the implementation project at UW-Parkside, already in progress. "This school is focused on results," Gottlieb points out. "Now that EMAS Pro can provide a user-friendly front-end to their ERP system plus a best-in-class communications engine for targeting student populations, the team here at UW-Parkside will have more control over enrollment than ever before.
